Bath time at Grandpa's

We went to visit our Parkville family a couple of weekends ago and while we didn't take many pictures of all the fun times, we did take some great pictures of Charlotte's super fun big sink bath. Charlotte has graduated to a real bath in our big tub since our sink is not this big, but I'm glad she had some fun times in this one.

Charlotte's (Sort of) Walking!

Charlotte has been making huge steps towards walking (no pun intended) the past couple of weeks and today she actually took some steps on her own! She needs support, but she's ready to be mobile!

Look at me!

Enjoying our beautiful new patio!

The best part about the warm weather is the ability to finally enjoy our backyard again. After over a year of a mudpit/prairie because of a stupid sewer issue, Andrew put in the most beautiful patio in the world in our backyard. It is fabulous! We can't wait for spring so we can add flower beds to finish off the look.

On Monday we had a great little BBQ outside. I missed this so much!

I can't believe I ate the WHOOOOOLE thing!

This was fun, Mommy!

Visiting Belton

We took off last weekend for a long overdue visit to Bedside Manor to visit Grandma and Papa Kirk. We had lots of fun celebrating Papa Kirk's birthday with BBQ and bowling. Charlotte had a great time with her grandparents and as usual, we had to rip our daughter out of her grandmother's loving arms. :)

Ready for St. Patty's Day!

I don't think this tastes as good as your dinner.
Mommy looks a little tired. Maybe it's because I stayed up ALL NIGHT the night before.

Fun times in my exersaucer with Uncle Andrew and soon-to-be Aunt Lindsey!

Fun times at the bowling alley

Thanks for taking us, Grandma!

This is how we roll.

Soooooo sleepy. Maybe I'll sleep tonight.

Is it possible to photograph new teeth?

I'm starting to think no. Charlotte now has two adorable little front teeth, but I just can't get a good picture of them. I did, however, end up with a series of absolutely adorable pictures of this kid. How can anyone not love this face?

Such a happy child

Hello, my little Gerber baby

She looks so mischievous here!

I think this is my favorite of the bunch. She's such a weirdo.

Baking with Mommy

Charlotte is an excellent sous chef. I never would have finished these cupcakes without her.

It's nice to be a state employee

One of the perks of being a state employee is the paid holidays. On February 12, I enjoyed Lincoln's birthday from the comfort of my home and had the extra special bonus of a visit from my best friend, Kristin (who is also a state employee). We had plans to go to lunch and then pick up Charlotte from daycare, but the dumbest person on the face of the planet installed our new satellite service that day, showed up two hours late, and completely ruined our plans. Kristin brought Charlotte a lovely present, but because of the incompetence of others (and poor planning on my part), she didn't get to see Charlotte eat, I mean open, the gift. So here is an extra special post, just for Kristin and her family- Peter, Emmalee, and Cole.

Such a pretty bag!

Charlotte's favorite part: The tissue paper

Yay for Cars! My Daddy loves this movie.

Thanks for the Valentine, Emmalee! It's very tasty.

Yours is tasty, too, Cole.

Thanks for the bath toys! These are super fun.

Thank you, Kristin! Come to see us again soon!
