Busted
"Crash!"
"Bang!"
And then we see this. So busted. Time to scoot the Bumbo out a little bit more.

Squash was not a hit
Well, we're moving on to "real" food and so far, we haven't had a lot of success. We're taking it slow, but I'm worried we'll have a picky eater who shudders at the table:
A New Chapter
Well, Charlotte opened a new chapter in her short little life this week. After being at Kindercare since she was 6 weeks old, Charlotte is now a "student" at Growing Footprints. We weren't super happy with the level of care Charlotte was receiving from some of the employees at Kindercare. We loved two of her teachers, but some of the support staff seemed to change weekly. I could never keep up with the afternoon teachers. Our new daycare is also smaller, cheaper, and less than 5 blocks from our house. It was kind of a no brainer. We've been on a waiting list since October and finally started her this Monday. It was sad to leave Miss Ellen and Miss Katie, but we know this is the best decision for our family and Charlotte will make lots of new friends!
We asked Ellen and Katie to take some pictures on Charlotte's last two days so we'll always remember the happy times at Kindercare!

Things I Wish I Could Capture on Camera
1. Charlotte's yawn. Too cute.
2. Charlotte gearing up to sneeze. Her entire body gets into the "ah... ah... ah..." part, but only about half the time do we get a "choo".
3. The look on Charlotte's face when she stretches after a late night bottle. That look makes a 2:30 AM feeding worth it.
4. Charlotte's face when she first sees her mommy or daddy walk into a room. Heart melting, I tell you.
5. Matthew's face moments after Charlotte was born. I'll remember it forever, but it would be nice to share it with posterity.
6. Charlotte rubbing her eyes in her sleep. So precious.

An Uncle Andy Visit
Andrew and Lindsey came to visit last weekend and Charlotte had such a great time with her Uncle Andy, even though she had to repeatedly tell him her name was Charlotte, not Char or CJ. Geez, Uncle Andrew.
