The day after Christmas, we headed out to Kansas City for the week. I took off the entire week between Christmas and New Years so we were able to spend quite a bit of time with Matt's family. Per usual, we got a late start and didn't roll into Parkville until almost 5:00, but we had a nice time eating dinner with Matt's dad, Edie, Nash, Shea, Matt's Aunt Cindy and Uncle Kevin, their son Phil and his girlfriend Sara. It was so nice to see Phil and Sara- they moved to North Carolina a couple of years ago so Phil could go to business school. They were regular dinner guests and dinner hosts, so we've missed spending time with them. We were having far too much time that night eating, talking and opening presents, so the camera never made it out of the bag, but I have plenty of mental pictures of Charlotte opening her very first Barbie (thanks Aunt Cindy!), Audrey playing with her new baby and Aunt Cindy trying to figure out why we gave her hydrogen peroxide (to go with her husbands new pruning shears. :) )
The next morning, Charlotte and Audrey opened a couple of remaining presents. They got a new wagon and Audrey got a new bike, so of course we had to try them out that day!

| That evening the girls had races around the house with Grandma and Grandpa and their new wagon and bike. Beautiful chaos. :) |
The next day we played around the house in the morning and then explored Zona Rosa. There was a little indoor playground the girls enjoyed, but we also found a fun bouncy house playground that girls played around in for awhile before lunch and heading out to our next destination for the week, Uncle Andy's and Aunt Lindsey's.
